Alo Codes costs nothing and asks for nothing except an email address. You get a digest of discount codes we have tested ourselves, sent only when one is worth sending. These terms cover the handful of things worth writing down.

What you're signing up for

A free email digest. There is no account to create, no subscription to cancel and no payment at any stage. We cap ourselves at two emails per calendar month and frequently send fewer, because a month without a working code is a month without an email.

What "hand-tested" means, and what it doesn't

Before a code goes into the digest, one of us puts it into a live checkout and checks that the total actually falls. That is a real test, done on a real day, on a real basket.

It is not a guarantee about your basket, on your day. Retailers change the rules constantly: codes get pulled early, hit their redemption cap, turn out to exclude the exact product you wanted, or stop working in your country. When that happens the code was still tested — it just expired between our checkout and yours.

Some of the retailers in the digest pay us a commission when a reader buys. Those links are marked in the email itself. The commission funds the testing, and that is all it does: it cannot buy an entry, it cannot rescue a code that failed our checkout test, and a request to pay for placement is declined.

No warranty

This website and the digest are provided as they are, with no promise of accuracy, availability or fitness for anything in particular. We are not liable for money lost, time wasted or purchases regretted as a result of a code, link or partner site we mentioned. If that sounds harsh, it is simply what a free digest run by a few people can honestly offer.

Using our stuff sensibly

• Forward a digest to a friend as often as you like — that is how most of our readers arrive.
• Don't republish our issues wholesale, scrape the site, or repackage the digest as your own product.
• Don't sign anyone up who hasn't asked to be signed up. Addresses added without consent get removed.
• Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the site. There is nothing interesting behind it — it's a static page.

Ending it

You can leave at any moment through the one-click unsubscribe link in any email; the removal is immediate and permanent. We may also remove an address from our side — for example, if it hard-bounces repeatedly or was clearly added without the owner's consent.

Changes to these terms

We may revise this page occasionally, and the date at the top will show when. Staying subscribed after a revision means you accept it; if you don't, the unsubscribe link is in every email we've ever sent you.
