In one paragraph: the only thing we ask for is an email address, and the only thing we do with it is send you the digest. We do not sell it, rent it, lend it or trade it, and you can take it back with a single click. Everything below is that same promise, spelled out.
Alo Codes is a small independent digest of hand-tested discount codes, run by a handful of people from Yerevan, Armenia. Our postal address sits at the foot of this page, and a human reads [email protected].
We never ask for your name, your phone number, your postal address or your date of birth. If you send them to us anyway, we delete them.
To write and deliver a discount digest to people who asked for one, and to work out which entries earned their place. That is the entire purpose. Your address is not used to advertise anything else to you, and it is not fed into any other system.
An email delivery provider physically sends the digest for us, so your address passes through their systems. They act on our instructions and may not use it for their own ends. Beyond that single processor, nobody outside our team sees the list.
The digest links out to retailers and partners. Once you click through, you are on their site under their rules and their privacy policy — we have no visibility into what you do there, and they receive nothing about you from us.
Some links earn us a commission if you go on to buy something; those are flagged inside the email. Following one may set a cookie on the retailer's own domain so they can attribute the referral. That cookie is theirs, set on their site, and governed by their policy — not by us.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. There are no third-party trackers embedded in these pages. Inside the digest itself we use a standard open-tracking pixel and wrapped links; if you would rather not send that signal, turning off remote images in your mail client is enough to stop the pixel.
Your address stays on the list for as long as you want the digest. Unsubscribe and it comes off the active list immediately. Engagement records — opens and clicks — are discarded after twelve months, because they are no use to us after that.
Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Click it and you are gone: no confirmation screen, no "are you sure", no offer to send you less instead. What remains afterwards is a single hashed entry on a suppression list. That entry exists for one reason — so that a future import or a mistyped upload cannot put you back on the list — and it is never used to contact you.
If you want even that trace removed, or you want a copy of everything we hold on you, write to [email protected] and we will handle it.
You can ask us what we hold, ask us to fix it, ask us to erase it, or object to us processing it at all. There is no form and no waiting queue — one email to the address above reaches a person, and we answer.
The date at the top moves whenever we revise this page. If a change actually affects how we handle your address, we will say so in the next digest rather than hoping you re-read the small print.
